We want you (and your dog!) to be absolutely happy with the shopping experience and products purchased on HappyDog. If for any reason below (*see details) you're not happy with your purchase, please tell us immediately within 14 days of receiving your item(s). We offer a full money-back guarantee for all online purchases made on TheHappyDog.ca.

Here's how your purchase(s) can qualify* for our full money-back refund:

  • You received the wrong item
  • The package and/or item arrived damaged
  • The item is missing or never arrived

To start the refund review process, please send us an email as soon as possible and before 14 days to info@TheHappyDog.ca with the following information:

  • Subject Line: "Refund Request"
  • Your Name
  • Order Number
  • The Issue (e.g. damaged product)
  • Photo of the Item

You have 14 days from the date of parcel arrival to request a refund, upon which we will look into what happened (e.g. wrong item, damaged item, item didn't arrive) and then respond to you asap. After 14 days, you will not be eligible to refund your item(s).

To receive a refund, you must return the package to the address that we provide you, and then we'll issue you a refund to your original method of payment upon receiving the package in the mail. We do not cover the cost of return shipping.

Once we process the refund in our system, it can take approximately 5–10 business days to reflect on your card. Although we submit any refund that you make to your customer's bank immediately, your bank must still process the refund and apply it to your account. Processing time can vary between banks.

Important considerations:

  • Please wait up to 60 days for the item(s) to arrive before requesting a refund. There are rare cases where items can take that long in transit until you receive them
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges if you don't like the item that you purchased from our shop. We can only offer refunds per the above guidelines
  • We do not offer refunds on any custom items (e.g. engraved collars, dog tags, harnesses etc.)
  • We also cannot refund you if any collars, clothing, harnesses etc. do not fit. We supply size charts on each respective apparel product page for you to choose the right size. However, we offer store credit, in the form of an eCard, once you return the product(s) to the address that we provide you. We do not cover return shipping costs  
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable
  • "Featured Deals" on our site, and any orders that used a discount code are final sale
